Clean Energy Jobs Coalition in the Albany Times Union
Clean Energy Jobs Coalition founding member and International Representative of the United Association of Journeymen & Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada, John Murphy was featured in the Albany Times Union's Letters to the Editor alongside NYSERDA President and CEO, Doreen M. Harris.
Murphy stated in his letter:
"To truly achieve the state's climate goals and create middle-class sustaining jobs, New York must recognize clean hydrogen, renewable natural gas, biogas, thermal energy systems and advanced nuclear power as zero-emission energy sources. This will activate billions more in funding from the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act for job training and domestic manufacturing while also helping the state achieve the full spectrum of grid upgrades (industrial to residential)."
